Our two family cottages provide a great opportunity for time away as well as for family get-togethers. We love the outdoors and we enjoy campfires, waterskiing, and fishing in the summer, and snowshoeing, skating, and reading by the fire in the winter. We feel so fortunate to have the use of these cottages, and we really look forward to sharing in these activities with your child and helping them to grow and explore cottage life!
Caitlin's Cottage (Pictured up top)
Horseshoe Lake, Haliburton.
My family cottage is on a small lake just south of Haliburton. I spent my summers as a child here. With my extended family cottaging in the Haliburton area for over 80 years, there are 8 extended family cottages in the area with 5 being on our lake. Highlights for the summer definitely include Caitlin's extended family's summer regatta, as well as some relaxing time on the dock reading a book.
Jeff's Cottage (Pictured left)
Big Bald Lake, Buckhorn.
My family cottage is on a small lake with access to a bigger lake chain in the Trent-Severn Waterway. We have found some great hiking trails that we love to explore with our dog. We also love to spend a day touring on the boat. The lake has some unbelievable fishing and we have shared many sunset evenings out together fishing.
